Beatrice Marie Autin, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed into eternity at 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2018, from complications caused by coronary artery disease at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.

Known affectionately as “MomMom” to her grandchildren and as “Aunt Bea” or “Bea” to everyone else, she is survived by her children, Wendy (Glen) Dana, Myra (Jeff) Pollard, Shull (Elizabeth) Autin, and Dextel Terrebonne; grandchildren, Jasmine (Armin) Grado, Brynn (Casey) Arnold, and Tyler Giles, Lacey Pollard, Jordan (Kimberly) Pollard, Bryant Autin, Hannah Autin, and Nikita (Victor) Gonzalez; and great-grandchildren, Christine Authement, Hunter Grado and Kaylor Grado, Emma Arnold, Riley Arnold, Dane Pollard, Nola Pollard, Joss Pollard, Talia Lirrette, Tasia Terrebonne and Tovi Terrebonne.

She was born Beatrice Marie Terrebonne in Golden Meadow on September 3, 1930, to Ulysse and Leonise Terrebonne. She married Woody Autin on Feb. 19, 1950, and they were happily married for 49 years. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother, a loyal friend, and a faithful member of South Lafourche Baptist Church. She was thoughtful, hard-working and conscientious in all that she did and sacrificial in her love to family and friends. All that knew and loved her will deeply miss her. We are thankful that she passed away with the hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Wendy, Myra, Shull and Dextel would like to thank the TGMC staff and the team of physicians that cared for her.
