Bernadette A. Morgan Travis, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Sunday, December 4, 2016.
Mrs. Travis was a parishioner of St. Lucy Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Court No. 338. She was a retired special education teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School Board, and she enjoyed reading, writing and educating young people.
She is survived by her sons, A. James, Nathan (Shawn) and William Travis; daughters, Delquin and Willisa Travis, Tara (Charles) Lonon and Tiffany (Christopher) Fields; brothers, Gerard and M. Karl (Marcia) Morgan; sisters, Angela Robinson and Veronica (George) Morgan-Lee; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.
