October 11, 2018Terrebonne General Medical Center wants to prepare expectant mothers who plan to breastfeed their children.
The hospital is holding a one-time, two-hour breastfeeding class on Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
Topics for the course will cover breast changes during pregnancy, preparing to be breastfed, proper positioning, latch techniques, as well as common problems and solutions and tips for maintaining a milk supply after returning to work.
