Brennan “Bird” Scott Pitre, 38, born Dec. 16, 1979 passed away unexpectedly Oct. 4, 2018 at 12:12 a.m. He was a resident of Houma and a native of Gibson. LA


Brennan is survived by his wife Shannon Harper Pitre; sons Harper James (10) and Sawyer Lawrence (9) Pitre; mother Angela Provost Pitre, and partner John Whipple, father Craig Pitre and wife Vanessa; brother Ryan Pitre and partner Ellen Kent Hammett; sisters, Heather Pitre and partner Jeremy George, and Callie Pitre Trahan and husband Phillip; mother-in-law Glenda B. Harper; maternal grandparents Vernon and Betty Provost Eschete; paternal grandparents Ralph and Marilyn Jaynes and Marrial M. Pitre; godchildren Hayes and Lana; nephews Alec, Payton, Jameson, Jaxon and Carson; nieces Ashlee, Paige and Averie; uncles Joe, Billy, Dane and Michael; and aunts Stacey and Sonya.

Brennan was an amazing husband, father, son and brother. He touched lives wherever he went during he and his wife’s travels around the world over their 18 years together. His boys, his wife, and all his family were the most important things in his life. His smile and laugh were contagious. Those who knew him saw the meaning of love, generosity, guidance, friendship, leadership, ethics, moral, and brilliance in its truest form.

To know him is to know Love.


Brennan was an estimator/inside salesman for Scurlock Electric in Houma. LA.
