81: Patterson scored a late touchdown to take a one-point lead over Central Lafourche in the fourth quarter of Friday night’s game. But Trojans standout Anfernee Poindexter took the ensuing kickoff 81 yards to the house to clinch a win.

4: South Lafourche turned over the ball four times in the first half of Friday’s game against Bonnabel. The Tarpons cleaned up their act and overcame a 20-0 deficit to score a 37-33 win.

2: South Terrebonne and Thibodaux had two combined regular season losses in all of 2014. After week one, they already have two combined losses with each team going down in week one.


220: In his first game as H.L. Bourgeois starting quarterback, Jude LeCompte shined. The Braves beat South Terrebonne and LeCompte had 220 combined yards, passing and rushing for 100-plus yards to improve to 1-0 on the season.

4: E.D. White quarterback Ben Sposito made the most of his final career game against rival Vandebilt. The senior quarterback had four touchdowns.
