21: After struggling to just a 6-0 lead after the first half, South Lafourche caught fire in the final 24 minutes. The Tarpons scored 21-straight points in the second half to cruise to an easy, comfortable victory over a South Terrebonne team that finishes the season with a 2-8 record. The Tarpons defense allowed 83 points in five district games. Not bad. Not bad at all.

27: Vandebilt Catholic rushed out to a 27-point first half lead against Ellender on Thursday night. But the Patriots fought back and made the game close before the Terriers pulled away late to secure a hard-fought, 37-22 victory.

0: After trailing 13-7 at halftime to longtime rivals H.L. Bourgeois, the Terrebonne defense stiffened and took control of the game. The Tigers shut out the Braves in the second half to score a tough, gutsy 14-13 win. The victory ruins the playoff hopes for H.L. Bourgeois.

31: With just 31 seconds left in Thursday’s game between Central Lafourche and East St. John, the Trojans were on the ropes and down by four. But the Trojans converted late in a big way when quarterback Austin Aucoin tossed a fourth-down touchdown pass to Gage Bourg to take the lead, win the game and clinch a spot in the Class 5A Playoffs.
