14: Central Lafourche and H.L. Bourgeois combined to lose 14 games last season – the Trojans going 4-6 and the Braves going 2-8. But through three weeks of the 2015 season, the teams have zero combined losses – each currently sitting at 3-0. They are the lone unbeaten teams in the area.

21: South Lafourche kicked a field goal late in the first half of Friday night’s game to cut Thibodaux’s lead to 14-9. After that, the Tigers controlled the rest of the game, scoring 21 unanswered points to earn their first victory of the season. The Tarpons drop to 1 – 2 in the defeat.

53: E.D. White kicker Winston Jones has a huge, powerful leg. With the Cardinals down by two and with time winding down, E.D. White opted to try what would have been a game-winning 53-yard field goal on Friday against St. James. The kick was blocked, but coaches obviously think he has the ability to knock it through if they made the attempt.

265: The H.L. Bourgeois offense generated 265 yards rushing on Friday night, thanks to a combination of dominant blocking and downhill running. The Braves overwhelmed South Plaquemines with their speed, improving to 3-0 on the season.
