6: Are you kidding me? E.D. White halfback Jeremy Rounds scored six… count ’em SIX touchdowns on Friday night in an easy win over Berwick. In an individual performance that was the best we’ve seen all season, Rounds battered and bruised the Panthers defense.

2: Vandebilt’s game with Morgan City got chippy in the second half. The Tigers and Terriers were flagged for multiple personal foul penalties throughout the final 24 minutes and two players were ejected after multiple skirmishes.

1: The Covenant Christian Academy football team clinched their first-ever LHSAA district championship on Friday night, cruising past rival Houma Christian at Nicholls State University. The Lions rushing offense swarmed the Warriors who had no answer.

19: South Terrebonne owns Ellender. With Friday night’s 50-46 victory, the Gators have now beaten their crosstown rivals 19-straight times – a streak that goes all the way back to 1996. The Gators and Patriots were offensive forces in the game, accumulating nearly 800 combined yards of offense.
