Carmelite Landry Arceneaux, 85, a native of Laplace, La., and resident of Dularge, La., died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.

Mrs. Arceneaux was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, baking and flower gardening.


She is survived by her son, Lynn (Becky) Arceneaux; daughters, Kathleen (Wayne) Authement and Mary Susan Arceneaux; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Ruth Landry Zappa.

Visitation is today, Aug. 19, beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Eloi Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
