Carolyn Hutchinson Jeunke, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015.
Mrs. Jeunke was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
She met her husband William Jeunke as students at Terrebonne High School, where they were both selected as King and Queen of Terrebonne’s 1948 Homecoming Court. After graduating, Mrs. Jeunke worked various office positions until she became employed with the Terrebonne Parish School Board for over 20 years.
Mrs. Jeunke is survived by her children, Michael (Allyce) Jeunke, Cynthia (Carroll) Bunch and Jill (Anthony) Bianca; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hutchinson; brother-in-law, Allen “Vic” Babin; and aunt, Shirley Shouest.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin Funeral Home)
