Local faces at nation’s capital for historic Supreme Court moment (AUDIO INSIDE)

Carolyn Ann Pellegrin, 57, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Mrs. Pellegrin was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked for Terrebonne Parish School Board. A member of the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild, Mrs. Pellegrin loved gardening, rock collecting and was an avid lover of nature and simple things.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Murphy Joseph Pellegrin Jr.; son, Dylan (Kamie) Pellegrin; daughter, Tara (Ryan) Portier; three grandchildren; mother, Theresa Bergeron; and sister, Laura Lirette.
Entombment is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
