Carroll Theriot. Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Theriot and a resident of Houma.
Carroll is survived by his loving wife of 61 years. Adeline “Teenie” Luke Theriot; son. Carroll Theriot, Jr., and wife Maria; daughter, Julie Voisin and husband Reed; grandchildren, Christopher Voisin and wife Samaria, Kelly Theriot Bye and husband John, Franny Voisin and companion Jason Vitrano, Ryan Theriot Lindy Theriot Boss and husband Todd, Angle Voisin and companion Kevin Smith, Brad Theriot and wife Joyce, Becky Voisin and companion Phillip Pellegrin; 28 great grandchildren; brothers, Patrick Theriot and wife Patty; Hebert Theriot and wife Vivian; sisters, Lydia Champagne and Cecile Evans; sisters-in-law, Kim Theriot Ger mains Theriot and Diana Theriot.
Carroll was a devoted Christian of the Catholic faith. He served as a Communion Minister and Alter Server for St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Dresser Industries of 15 years He loved gardening and shrimping; As a loving husband, father, and grandfather, his dedication and devotion to his family was always his priority.
The family would like to give a special thanks and appreciation to the Medical Team and Haydel Memorial Hospice for everything they did to make his last days comfortable and peaceful.
