Chamber to name Employee of the Year

Chamber members will have to wait until the organization’s annual crawfish boil April 23 to find out who the worthy recipient is.

The event, set for 6 to 8 p.m., will be held next Thursday at the Cut Off Youth Center. A new addition to this year’s boil is a Wellness Expo, hosted by Lady of the Sea General Hospital, Ochsner St. Anne General Hospital and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, from 4 to 6 p.m. Health screenings and information from dieticians on nutrition and healthy eating will be available. Blood pressure checks, testing for hemoglobin, glucose, body fat and sleep apnea will also be offered.
