Charles Warren Clanton, 86, a resident of Houma, La., died on Thursday, June 8, 2017.

Mr. Clanton served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked in the oilfield and retired from Western Wireline at the age of 73. He loved fishing, golfing, watching birds and squirrels and playing board games with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Grace Brunet Clanton; children, Cecil (Cathy) Clanton, Rene’ (Don) Lea, Annette (David) Bourg and Charlotte (David) Chauvin; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
