Clarence John “Dick” Hebert, 92, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, Louisiana, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by family and friends.


Mr. Hebert loved to cook and bake, farm, perform yard work and share his earthly treasures. He retired from J. Ray McDermott and remained active in his church and the community.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Jean), of Bayou Blue, and David (Peggy) Hebert, of Aliso Viejo, California; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grand-children; four step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Marcel.

Burial is at Grace Christian Memorial Garden (New Hope) Mausoleum.
