Clayton Alexander Russell, 42, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Mr. Russell was baptized at an early age at Highway Baptist Church in Vacherie. He loved to sing in the church choir, play on the football team and participate in various clubs. He was a social butterfly who loved people and people loved him in return. He served his country for four years in the U.S Army.
Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, Mary Valentine Russell; daughters, Chasidy and Casie Russell; father, Howard Russell; sister, Bianca (Levar) Isom; brothers, Al (Carla) and Jerome (Conchetta) Russell; parents-in-law, Rudolph and Lenora Valentine; and grandmother-in-law, Mary Ruffin.
Burial is at New St. Paul Cemetery.
