Clifton “Popion” Sanchez Sr., 78, a native of Choctaw, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La. died on Monday, April 25, 2016.
Mr. Sanchez enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dancing, woodworking and fixing his next project. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Toups; children, Danny (Hope), Vicki (Lonnie) Ordoyne, Tammy (Tony) Boudreaux, Corey (fiance Rita), Billy (Ruby) and Pete (Roxanne) Sanchez Jr. and Jessica (Hartley) Bergeron; stepchildren, Jennifer, Tiffany and Jason Badeaux; 16 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Gertie, Jeanne and Nancy; and brother, Bob Sanchez.
