A story on affordable housing that appeared in the March 4 issue of The Times incorrectly stated that the Parkwood Place subdivision currently under construction in Houma would offer homes for rent. They will actually be for sale, 50 percent of which will be available at affordable prices to home buyers earning 80 percent or less than the area median income.

A story in the The Times’ Feb. 25 Silver & Gold section, incorrectly credited G&J Marine Land and Marine Food Distributors with saying the company strives to be “better than their competitors.” The company prides itself on offering the best services they possibly can and makes no claims to be better than anyone.
