Dana “Dan” Gotreau, 70, a native of Ville Plate, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Monday, July 17, 2017.


Mr. Gotreau worked at Terrebonne ARC for many years. He was known as a jack-of-all-trades who loved tending to his garden and tinkering around the house. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thibodeaux Gotreau; daughter, Tara (Christopher) Landry; sons, Todd and Toby Cunningham; brother, Freddie Gotreau; eight grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
