David “Roogahroo” Joseph Bergeron, 70, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Dulac, La., died Monday, July 13, 2015.
Mr. Bergeron was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, and owner of Dave’s Meat Market in Dulac. He was a founding member of the Big Rock Brothers.
He is survived by his sons, Travis (Amy) and Trever (fiancee, Tonya Edler) Bergeron; brothers, Carroll (Carol Ann) and the Rev. Paul Bergeron; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
