Delores “Dee Dee” Ann Hebert, 76, a native of Larose, La., died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.


Ms. Hebert worked for 30 years as the bookkeeper for South Lafourche High School; and although she retired in 1984, she continued to work for a few more years at Larose-Cut Off Middle School. She also volunteered in many capacities at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, including St. Vincent de Paul Society, Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of the Altar Society. In addition, she volunteered working in the bank for the French Food Festival for many years.

Ms. Hebert is survived by her brother, Emile (Jane Marie LeBlanc) Hebert; uncle, Irvin LeBlanc; aunts, Isabelle Compeaux and Lorene Guidry; godchildren, Dustin (Taylor Anderton) Dore, Renee Jackson, Lonnie Boudreaux, Ella Dore and Nadia Dardar; cousin Loretta (Andrew) Smith; and several other relatives.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose, La.
