Our story: ‘South Terrebonne student dies, weeks after severe injury,’ generated the following responses online:

“I don’t know what to say. I don’t know how to take this. I don’t know how I can come to grips with the reality, which is that I will never get a chance to say hello to Louie again. He was one of the best football players I’ve ever had a chance to see play in person. Off the field, Louie was warm, charming and always had a way of making people feel comfortable in their own skin.

I pray so deeply for the people at South Terrebonne. They deserve comfort in their time of need. This whole situation is so, so sad. It’s truly devestating.”

“I saw Louie just befor his accident. He was as happy and as fun-loving as ever. This whole situation is sad, but let it serve as a reminder to everyone that life is precious and we have to cling to our loved ones dearly, because we never know when things are going to happen and people are going to be taken away from us too soon.”
