Doris Brunet Naquin, 70, a native and resident of Isle de Jean Charles, La. Died Friday, June 24, 2016, after a two-year fight with cancer.
Visitation is tomorrow, June 30, at The Father’s House Church, from 4-9 p.m., and Friday, from 8 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes.
Mrs. Naquin was a faithful servant of the Lord, who never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Tillman Naquin Sr.; children, Tanya (Jeff) Billiot, Tillman Jr. (Angie), Troy Sr., Keith (Sarah) Naquin; siblings, Melia Brunet, Mildred Dardar, Patsy Kieff, Lena Mae Murphy, Leona (Marcel) Regnier, Leon (Marie) Brunet, Connie (Mike) Kossar, Carlin (Brenda) Brunet and Juliette (Scottie) Dufrene; half-sister, Rosemarie Holmes; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grand-children.
