Scalise retains leadership position

Dorothy “Dot” Chauvin Underwood, age 76 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Houma.
Dot is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Underwood, Sr.; children, Bill Underwood, Jr. and wife Melissa, Beth Moore and husband, Bill, Sr., Becki Sanner and husband Brad; grandchildren, Beejay Underwood III and wife Ashley, Heather Alleman and husband Jared, Meghan Callegan and husband Trey, Kati Fleck and husband Andy, Billy Moore, Jr., Kobe Underwood, Wyatt Underwood, Lexi Hutchinson, Kami Hutchinson, J.J. Hutchinson, Ethan Sanner, and Eli Sanner; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phillip Chauvin, Jr. and wife Jane, and Phoebe Morrison. Dot is also survived by her loving puppy, Maggie Mae.
Dot was loving and caring, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed time with her puppy Maggie Mae. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves a beautiful legacy behind. Dot was a Nascar Fan and loved Jimmie Johnson #48. Dot is now at peace, she has been reunited with her infant son, Jeffrey and now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
