Duroc “Jay” Cheramie Jr., 71, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Grand Isle and Galliano, died May 17, 2015.
Mr. Cheramie enjoyed duck hunting, watching TV; especially sports, dancing and playing the piano and accordion.
Mr. Cheramie is survived by his wife, Gloria G. Cheramie; children, Gregory (Pam) Cheramie, Mickey Cheramie, Gwen (Marty) Bradberry, Richard Cheramie, and Jimmy ‘Mona) Cheramie; 20 grandchildren; brother, Ray Cheramie, half-brothers, Edmund and Kerlin Kieff; and half-sisters Mildred Martin and Ruth Pitre.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
