Earl “Mandut” Griffin Sr., 78, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Leanna Griffin; sons, Tyron, Earl Jr. and Bryant (Melinda) Griffin; daughters, Lisa and Linette Griffin; brothers, Eugene (Veronica) Willis, the Rev. Lionel (Irma) Griffin, Larry Folse and Alexander Griffin; sisters, Maxine (Elton) Smith, Joyce Griffin, Sara Ann (Kerman) Hollie and Marlene Griffin; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.


Burial is at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
