Earl Noel Louviere Sr., 93, a native of Glen Orange, La., and resident of Big Bayou Black, La., died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.


Mr. Louviere was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and World War II. He was also a member of the Texaco Retiree Club and a former Bayou Black volunteer fireman. He enjoyed dancing and gardening.

He is survived by his sons, Earl (Tracie) Jr. and Wayde Louverie; daughters, Belva (Charles) Dusenbery and Geralyn (Barry) LeBoeuf; sister, Yvonne Giroir; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial is at Bayou Black Cemetery in Houma.
