Effie Trahan Parfait, 75, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Theriot, La., died on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Ms. Parfait is survived by her companion, Peter Davenport; sons, Jason and Chris Parfait and Timothy and Lupe Valdiviez; daughters, Stacy Fitch, Sylvia Pitre, Effie Chiasson and Krissy Parfait; brother, Joseph Trahan; sisters, Enid Daisy and Varnell Dean; 30 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren. Burial is at a later date.
