Egg Painting

What you need:

• 1 dozen eggs shells, cracked in half to create “cups”

• poster beard or canvas

• paint

• drop cloth or other throw away coverings for the painting area

Instructions:

1. Cover the egg zone! Cover your fence, the ground, or any surface that the paint might accidentally touch.

2. Hangyour poster board or canvas on the covered surface.

3. Fill the eggshell halves with paint.

4. Lineup the artists and let them throw the filled eggshells at the canvas.

5. The eggshells will crack upon impact and leave your board with a fun splatter!

Marbled Easter Eggs

What you need:

• boiled eggs

• cool whip

• sheet pan

• food coloring

• spoon for swirling colors

• paper towels

• vinegar (optional)

• plastic gloves (optional, but recommended to keep your hands dye free)

Instructions:

1. Spread a layer of cod whip on a sheet pan, leaving a clean area in one corner.

2. Add drops of food coloring in any combination you like, and then swirl with the spoon.

3. Roll the eggs in the dyed cool whip, then roll to them to the clean area in the corner of the pan and allow them to sit for 15 minutes.

4. Rub the eggs with paper towels, removing any excess cool whip.

Tip: For more vibrant colored eggs, pre-soak them in vinegar for a few minutes.
