Elizabeth “Liz” Anne Adams Gaubert, 61, a native of Venice, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died at 9:07 p.m. on her birthday on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Mrs. Gaubert loved hunting, fishing, cutting grass and just about any activity outdoors. She was a hard worker who loved cooking and baking.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gregory Mark Gaubert; parents, Julia and Alcide Adams Jr.; sons, Scott (Tammy) and Joshua (Somer) Freeman; stepdaughter, Mistee (Chris) Lovato; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; sister, Wanda (Frank) Carpenter; and brothers, Rickey (Susan), Michael (Suzette), Cord Sr. (Sheila) and Troy (Julie) Adams Sr.


Burial is at Houma First Baptist Church Cemetery. (Samart)
