October 13, 2015Elroy Roland Hawkins, 74, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Hawkins; son, Patrick (Hermelinda) Hawkins; daughters, Paula (Jerome) Smith, Cynthia Young, Sharon Washington and Laura (Eric) House; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; mother, Florence Hawkins; brothers, Warren (Valerie), Ivory Jr.(Harriet), Gary (Blanca) and Chester (Lisha) Hawkins; and sisters, Eula (Theodore) Burke, Mary (Lawrence) Bonaparte, Linda (Gable) Hawkins, Audrey (Irving) Brown, Gwendolyn (Edwin) Williams, Patricia (Earl) Theriot and Betty Dickerson.
Burial is at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery No. 2 in Thibodaux, La.
