Elsie Marie Neal Valure, age 81, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a native of Pointe-Aux-Chene and a resident of Houma. 2 Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Hugh Paul “H.P.” Valure; son, Wesley Valure; daughters, Carla Valure Endsley and husband, Dale Endsley, and Sally Valure; grandchildren, Wesley Valure Jr., Tanya Valure, Shepard, and Tristan Theriot; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Carlton Neal; step-brothers, Cecil, Wendell and Lawerence Neal Jr.; and step-sisters, Julia Ledet, and Irene Henry. Elsie is also survived by her step-mother, Marjorie Neal.
Elsie was a loving wife and mother. She adored her family and enjoyed family gatherings. Elsie was a beautiful woman who was funny, loving and caring. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She was also very strong-willed and a hard worker. Elsie leaves her family behind and has transitioned to the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
