Elzie Alexander Pilot III, 69, a native of Dallas, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015.
Mr. Pilot was a Baptist who retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government after 22 years of service.
Mr. Pilot is survived by his wife, Dinah Pilot; sons, Elzie IV (Carla), Curtis and Tyree’ Pilot; daughters, Cheryl Cooks, Joy Pilot and Tiawan (Derrick) Jackson; goddaughter, Kiawan Metoyer; brother, Walter (Dorothy) Jackson Jr.; sisters, Cora (Terry) Polk, Barbara Kennedy and Regina Austin; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
