Emily Thrasher Price, 77, a native of Burnside, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:40 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016.
Mrs. Price was employed the by Houma OB-GYN Clinic for 40 years. She was also a 35-year member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians, serving as board member, president and vice president, including Queen Hyacinth XXXII in 1983. She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Price; step-sons, Kenneth and Toby (Leslie) Price; step-daughter, Angelle (Dale) Blanchard; sister, Charlye (Mervin) Rougeau; brother, Carl Thrasher; and five step-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
