Cut Off man’s work ethic, dedication the foundation for his success

Ethel Jane Durio, 74, a native of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015.
Ms. Durio graduated Nicholls State College in 1962 with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was also a member of the Sigma Tau Delta sorority. She taught English and literature at South Terrebonne High School for 22 years and was honored by the Terrebonne Parish School Board for her service.
Ms. Durio is survived by her brother, Nelson (Karen) Durio; nieces, Cathy Lynn (Wayne) Breaux and Kristy Lee (Jason) Serio; nephew, Dustin Cavalier; aunts, Vida Toups, Evada Singletary and Rita Adams; and numerous cousins.
Burial is at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church Cemetery.
