Eugene Joseph Aycock, 79, a longtime resident of Bayou Dularge, died on Friday, January 05, 2018.

Mr. Aycock is survived by his sister, Julia Aycock Marcel and husband Millard, Sr.; nephews, Barry Marcel and Nolan Aycock and wife Linda; nieces, Yvonne Legendre and husband Perel, Julie Minter, and Sandra Marcel. Eugene is also survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was loving, kind, generous, and very special to his family. Eugene worked for the school board with 37 years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi where he received the Bishop Medal for outstanding service. Overall, Eugene was a man of God, he walked by faith and not by sight. He was welcomed home and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. (Chauvin)
