Eva Lou Kelpsch, 89, a native of Gibson, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015.

Mrs. Kelpsch was a member of Bayou Blue Methodist Church. She volunteered at Southdown Museum. She enjoyed water aerobics at YMCA, taking care of her flowers and plants, watching birds and wildlife.

Mrs. Kelpsch is survived by her sons, Michael (Anita) Patrick Kelpsch, Dale (Melva) Kennedy Kelpsch, and Pat “Baggy” (Sandra) Edmund Kelpsch; daughters, Ginny (Larry) Kelpsch Babin, Gisele (Jody) Kelpsch Andras; brothers, Lynn (Claire) Hatch, and Charles Hatch; sisters, Isabel (Gene) H. Parham, Molly (Thomas) H. Cantrelle, Katie H. Miller, and Shirley H. Poirrier; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grand-children.
