Former captain pleads guilty to charges

Freddie Peirre Hebert, 79, a native of Choctaw, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La, died at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016.
Mr. Hebert is survived by his wife, Hazel Hebert; sons, Kenneth and Bobby Hebert; daughter, Lisa Hebert; sister, Glorise (Irvin) Bergeron; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. James Chapel Cemetery.
