Gary “Black” Callais Sr., 71, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died on Monday, May 15, 2017.
Mr. Callais served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He loved playing cards and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Williams Callais; sons, Gary Jr. (Polly) and Chad Callais; siblings, Barbara McGinn, James Sr. and Dickie Callais and Gayle Brister; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
