Gladys Matherne Schaubhut, 95, a native of Black Prince Island, La., and a resident of Des Allemands, La., died Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.
Mrs. Schaubhut was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and was a Eucharistic minister. She loved dancing and walking for exercise.
She is survived by her son, Merlin (Joyce) Schaubhut Jr.; daughters, Linda (Eugene) Cunningham and Karen (Steven) Loupe; sister, Cerene Matherne; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and ll great-great-grandchildren. Burial is at St. Gertrude Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
