Hazel Clement Bergeron, 83, a native of St. John Community (Thibodaux) and a resident of Houma peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
A hard-working woman, Mrs. Bergeron was a devout Catholic and a founding parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 40 years and sang with the church choir. She was a master gardener with the LSU Ag Center.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory and Ernie (Anita) Bergeron; daughter, Lauren Fletcher; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Brasher and Gail (Bobby) Decker; sister-in-law, Lucille Clement; and brother-in-law, Charles Lee.
Burial is at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
