Henry Wilton Chauvin, 89, a native and resident of Mathews, La., died on Saturday, May 28, 2016.
Mr. Chauvin served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Laura Mae Sampey Chauvin; children, Tobie (Mary) Chauvin, Donna (Bobby) Gervais, Kay Sue (Doug) Brown, Lora (Red) Hackworth, Kimbley (Bryan) Rodrigue; sisters, Marie Louise Walker and Theresa Dufrene; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Hilary of Poiters Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
