Henry “Jr. Boy” P. Vega, 81, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Nov. 29, 2018.
Mr. Henry is survived by the mother of his children, Linda L. Vega; children, Louise Vega (Willie) and Elizabeth Vega; son-in-law, John “Beaver” Griffin Sr. (Barbara LeBouef); grandchildren: Linda Carcisse (Travis), Lana LaBauve (Randy Jr.), Natasha Vega Gilmore (Greg), David Lirette Jr. (Allyssa) and John Paul Griffin Jr. (Kimberly); greatgrandchildren, Katelynn Davis, Serenity Wiggins, Colby, Chole, Bohdi and Finley LaBauve, Alaya Gilmore, Daimen and Draeden Lirette, and Arcly Griffin.
He was a member and former Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3150, President of Alcohol Anonymous of Southeast Region, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cut Off and an avid trumpet player for many years.
