Herbert Joseph “Badoo” Danos, 88, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of St. Charles Community, La., died on Friday, September 29, 2017.
Mr. Danos served in the United States Navy and also as a Louisiana State Trooper. He was also an educator and coach in the Lafourche Parish School SanarDistrict until retirement. He loved gardening, fishing and hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Ann Brou Danos; sons, Jerome (Betty), Joe (Sheri) and John Danos; daughters, Jane (Russell) Carithers, Jackie (Les) Rhodes and Joy (Sean) Logan; sister, Darlene Trahan; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial is at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Samart-Mothe)
