Honore’ George Bourgeois Jr., 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015.
Mr. Bourgeois graduated from Thibodaux High and from Tulane University with a bachelor’s in geology. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served in Germany. He then returned to Thibodaux, started his own real estate company, and became a landman and appraiser.
Mr. Bourgeois is survived by his wife, Bennie Baker-Bourgeois; son, James (Monica) Honore’ Bourgeois; daughter, Sandra (John) Bourgeois-King; five grandchildren; brother, John (Linda) T. Bourgeois; stepsons, Dr. John (Melissa) Wilder Baker, M. (Margaret) Miller Baker, and Ford (Kandy) Baker; and eight step-grandchildren.
