Hubert Joseph Benoit, 80, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
Mr. Benoit enjoyed spending his time wood carving, making knives, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Blanchard Benoit; children, Craig (Pamela), Dean, Corey (Shelly), Jason (Nicole) and Eric (Andrea) Benoit, Tracy (James) Barrett, and Holly (Joseph) Prestenbach; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Schriever.
