Hugh Franklin “Frank” Bridges III, 84, a native of McComb, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015.
Mr. Bridges was an LSU alumnus with a degree in petroleum engineering. He worked for Gulf Oil Corp., and in 1972 he started Oilfield Consultants in Houma. In addition, he was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a member of the American Petroleum Institute.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Bridges; children, Michael (Nancy) and Kathy Bridges; four grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Barbara; and brothers, Denman (Polly) and Ronnie (Nell) Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Mr. Bridges to First United Methodist Church of Houma, La., or to Craig Hospital Foundation, 3425 S. Clarkson St., Englewood, CO 80113. (Chauvin Funeral Home)
