State officials say Hunting Energy Services, an offshore oil and gas services company, is completing a $62 million expansion. The company says the expansion will create 20 new jobs on top of the existing 103 jobs. The annual salary for the new jobs will be $52,000 on average.

The state offered Hunting a package of tax credits and tax breaks.

The company is consolidating its operations at a 304,000-square-foot manufacturing facility near Houma.

It is a Houston-based subsidiary of Hunting PLC, an international company based in the United Kingdom that supplies goods needed for drilling and completing oil and gas wells.

Hunting Energy Services began operations in Terrebonne Parish in 1981. In 2013, the company announced a $19.6 million capital investment into a 97,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility.
