Former captain pleads guilty to charges

James “Jim” Zeringue, 89, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
Mr. Zeringue is survived by his son, Steve Zeringue; daughter, Bonnie Franklin; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
