Janet Chiasson Schouest, 49, a native and resident of Gheens, La., died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015.
Mrs. Schouest is survived by her husband, Alvin Schouest Jr.; son, Jacob (Shelly Plaisance) Schouest; daughters, Jennifer (Benjamin) Tabor and Cheyanne Schouest; brothers, Kenneth (Connie) Chiasson, Peter Chiasson, Bruce Chiasson and Antoine Rodrigue; sisters, Donna (Gary) Hebert, Geraldine Glaviana and Joyce Burns; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery on a later date.
